Introducing H1 Vault
We built H1 Vault to make secure document sharing simple. Here's why we think data rooms need a fresh approach.
If you've ever been through a deal process, you know the drill: someone sets up a data room, invites a dozen people, and then spends the next three months answering emails about access issues, missing documents, and broken links. We built H1 Vault because we think it doesn't have to be this way.
The problem with existing data rooms
Most virtual data room software was designed in an era where "sharing documents securely" meant uploading files to a server and hoping the permissions were set correctly. The tools that dominate the market today were built for a world of faxes and FedEx, retrofitted for the internet. They're expensive, clunky, and often require training to use.
For sellers, setting up a data room means hours of folder organization, manual permission management, and constant back-and-forth with buyers who can't find what they're looking for. For buyers, it means navigating unfamiliar interfaces, downloading files one at a time, and keeping track of which documents they've reviewed across multiple tabs and windows.
A fresh start
